    *The POA does not need to be notarized or legalized.

    **Must be legalized up to the Lebanese consulate. The consulate will provide instructions on the procedure; note that costs will be incurred for this.

    ***An Arabic translation of the title and abstract is also required.

  • A certified copy of the Priority Document needs to be filed within 3 months from the application filing date (with details needed at filing). An English translation of the priority document is only required when the document is neither in English nor French.

  • The Power of Attorney, assignment and priority documents should be submitted to the Lebanon Patent Office within 3 months from the date of filing the application (no extensions available). Late filing of these documents will incur a fee, invoiced by the agent.
